Initial session 90-120 minutes. I will assess your child’s sensation and activation of four key muscle groups, the feet, calves, thighs and the bum/ glut muscles. It will give us a better understanding of your child’s nerve functioning and to document changes over time. This will not be painful for your child. Please schedule a time when your child is most likely happy. I often do the testing in a high chair or sitting in a chair/sofa. Please choose any distractions needed for your child, TV, toys, food…
At the end of testing Gerti Motavalli will know how to program the unit specifically for your child and we will start with the first placement for spinal stimulation.

Follow up sessions 45-60 minutes. Initially every 2 weeks, later monthly or even less frequent. We will assess the progress you have seen in your child and adjust electrode placement and intensities. Before the session please send new videos to Gerti IF your child’s movements have changed quite a bit.

Seeing Gerti Motavalli at her clinic. Please choose how many days you want to come. For babies, 2-3 days are often enough, for children who are more complex or want to work on standing or walking 3-5 days work well. Please choose 2 hours that should work well, think about the time change.
